All it takes is willingness to do the work to set your furry friend up for success. Every dog is different and some may take longer to learn than others. Patience and realistic expectations are necessary!
In-home Evaluation
An in-home evaluation is a professional assessment conducted to evaluate the dog's behavior, temperament, and training needs within their familiar environment. This allows the trainer to observe real life interactions, routines, and triggers that may influence behavior, such as reactions to family members, other pets or household activities. Every dog is unique in their own way. A tailored training program will be developed following the evaluation, aligning with the family's lifestyle and objectives by addressing specific issues.
Depending on training requirements the trainer may provide management strategies and hands-on training during the session for preparation for an upcoming lesson.
In-Home Lesson(s)
After the initial in-home evaluation, the trainer will identify the struggles you want to subside or the expectations you desire and illustrate effective training techniques to properly communicate with your pup. Focusing on teaching obedience commands, addressing behavioral issues, and building a strong bond between the dog and owner in a familiar, low-distraction environment. The entire household will learn how to communicate with the dog using consistent cues and rewards, reducing confusion.
A detailed guide, customized exercises and check-ins by text/phone to reinforce learning between sessions will be included.
Basic obedience Program
In-home basic obedience dog training offers personalized, effective instruction in the comfort of your own home. Allowing the trainer to address specific behavioral issues in real-life contexts. This approach is ideal for tackling problems like leash pulling, barking, chewing, house training, and anxiety. This enables the trainer to observe and modify behaviors as they naturally occur. It is important to tackle unwanted behaviors in the environment where they happen to ensure clarity.
In-home training is highly recommended for persistent or complex behavior issues. It ensures correct technique, accelerates learning, and strengthens the bond between you and your dog!
Advanced Obedience Program
In-home Advanced obedience training focuses on building off-leash reliability, complex command sequences, and high-level focus in distracting environments. Skills that go beyond basic commands. With dedication and structured practice, you can achieve reliable off-leash obedience, improved impulse control, and a deeper bond with your dog, all from the comfort of your own home!
Advanced obedience is Dedicated for dogs that have mastered basic commands and developed sufficient focus and stamina. Your dog must reliably respond to sit, down, stay, come, heel, and leave it before progressing to advanced exercises.
Personal Paw-Sitter
Personal paw-sitter duties vary depending on you and your pet's specific needs. You may simply want someone to stop by to let your dog out or feed your cat. Or you may be gone for a week and would rather your furry friend stay at an in-home type service rather than a boarding facility.
The exact duties are tailored to the pet's routine and the owner's instructions.
Drop-by Visits
Drop-by visits are short scheduled visits designed to meet a pet's basic needs while maintaining routine to prevent separation anxiety, ensuring pets remain happy, healthy and secure in their own home.
Such as: Potty breaks, Medication administration, Welfare check, Play and Interaction or Basic home care.
The exact duties are tailored to the pet's routine and the owner's instructions.
Poo Clean Up
Poo clean-up duties include removing pet waste from yards, disposing it off-site , odor elimination, disinfection and yard sanitation.
Board and Train Program
At least one lesson is required with the trainer to see if this program is suitable for you and your dog. This is a more intensive program where your dog stays with a trainer in their home. Receiving daily training and sticking to a schedule that best fits your dog. Depending on what training is needed, the board and train program will last three weeks or longer. With one in-person lesson, once a week to ensure that you are part of the process.
Board and Train duties include daily obedience training, behavioral modification, socialization, exercise, feeding, grooming and environmental management to prevent unwanted behaviors. Two free follow up sessions, owner training and progress updates are included.
Additional costs may be added for training collars.
Day Training Program
Day Training involves enrolling your dog in a structured training program where they spend part of the day or all of the day covering basic obedience commands. This option is ideal for busy owners seeking consistent training without full boarding.
Your dog is picked up in the morning and dropped off in the evening. Your dog will receive one-on-one attention tailored to their specific needs, learning, pace and goals.
At the end of each week, the trainer will conduct a "transfer session" to teach you how to reinforce the skills your dog has learned, ensuring long-term success. Unlike boarding programs, day training keeps your dog at home in the evenings and on the weekends to reduce stress and maintain family routines.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: There are No refunds for training programs or other services. Purchase of training tools may be required. All training tools suggested are safe and effective when used properly by the handler. It is important to note that ALL training services will provide “homework” and the work that must be continued. The success of structured training relies not only on the work the trainer provides but the work that YOU put in, as well. This must be a joint effort to ensure clarity, understanding, and communication in training!
